What is the definition of Adult, Child Concession and Family?
An Adult ticket is for a person who does not meet the requirements for purchasing a child or concession ticket.
A Child ticket is for anyone 5 – 12 years of age.
A Concession ticket is for any full-time student (age 13 and over) in possession of a Student Identification Card, or any other valid concession (Centrelink Pension Card, Seniors Card, Veteran and DVA Health Card).
Children 4 and under are FREE
Family is for 2 adults and 2 children.
How do I present my ticket on the day?
You can present the ticket for scanning on your phone at the gate/door or you can bring a printed copy.
Can I purchase a ticket at the gate?
Yes, tickets will be sold at the gate on the days of the show.
I can’t find my ticket?
If you need to have your ticket resent, you can find them on the website account.
Simply go to https://ipswichshow.com.au/
Click on your PROFILE – top right hand side of the page
On your PROFILE – scroll down to Upcoming Tickets
Select the PRINT icon … to view/print your tickets.
I made a mistake and booked the wrong day. How can I change it?
Your one day ticket is valid on any day of the Show. For example, if you don’t use it Friday, you can use it Saturday or Sunday.
Who can I speak with if I have an issue with my tickets?
You can call the Ipswich Show Society Office - Monday to Friday – 8.30 am to 4.30 pm to discuss ticket issues – 07 3281 1577

Can I get a pass-out?
Pass outs are available at each gate at the discretion of security, to allow customers re-entry to the Ipswich Show. Pass outs are only available prior to 8pm and subject to the Ipswich Show Conditions of Entry.
Smoking
The Ipswich Showgrounds is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is not permitted within the showgrounds.
On-the-spot fines and potential removal from grounds can be issued for non-compliance.

Dogs & Animals are not permitted at the Ipswich Show!
If you bring an animal with you to the Ipswich Show you will be denied entry.
Exceptions to this: Service & Guide Dogs, or Animals approved for medical purposes (certificate/identification of approval will need to be shown to gate staff/security).
Animals are not permitted for safety and Biosecurity reasons.
Is there an ATM at the show?
Yes ATM machines are available within the Ipswich Showgrounds. To avoid queues, we recommend that you bring some cash with you.
Is there a lost property area?
Please hand lost property to the Information Stand. If you have lost something, you can report it to our friendly staff at the Information Stand. A register will be kept for all lost and found items.
Are the Amusement rides free?
No, the Amusement rides are not included in your entry tickets.
Bonus Side Show Tickets are available to purchase online for $25 for 30 tickets (saving of $5.00) for rides, games and food at participating vendors only. Sales close Thursday 14 May at 23:59 PM. Please collect your tickets at the Information Stand.
What should I bring?
Your ticket (this can be digital).
Empty re-usable water bottles up to 1.5L (no glass) – there will be plenty of places to fill up.
Sun protection! Hat, shirt, and sunscreen.
If it looks like rain bring along wet weather gear (NO UMBRELLAS)
Photo ID – you must present your ID on entry to the show to validate age for the purpose of concessions.
Medication – there will be First Aid services for emergencies but bring any medications/treatments you might require if you suffer from a serious illness or condition, such as epilepsy or asthma.
Will there be a cloakroom available?
No, sorry there will be no cloakroom available this year.
Baby Nursing Area
A Baby nursing area is located in the top level of the Events Centre to allow for a private place to feed your baby.
What happens to lost children?
Lost children will be escorted to the Information Booth.
The Ipswich Show offers a dedicated child safety service to assist in the swift reunification of children and their guardians. Upon arrival, parents and carers are encouraged to register their child at the Information Booth. This service involves providing a wristband linked to emergency contact details, enabling event staff to quickly identify and contact guardians if a child becomes separated.
Parking
There is no designated parking at the Ipswich Showgrounds.
There is a designated drop-off/pick-up bay for those not wishing to park at UniSQ ring road. Entry into the Show is a Gate 5 located directly next to the UniSQ ring road.
Parking is available at Willey Street Park and courtesy coaches will be running from 8:30 am to 9:20 pm to deliver you to Gate Five.
Roadside parking is available in and around Ipswich Showgrounds. Please be mindful of residential homes surrounding the event location and be considerate when leaving. Please don't park on private property, in business carparks, over driveways or on lawns.
Disabled Parking is available in UniSQ Car Park One.
If you are driving to the show, how about filling up the seats in your car and traveling with a friend or two? Carpooling is a great way to save some petrol money and reduce the number of cars on the road. Plus you’ll only need to find one car park instead of two!
Courtesy Bus
A courtesy coach will run from Ipswich Showgrounds to Willey Street Park to Ipswich Showgrounds and Ipswich Showgrounds to Limestone Park to Ipswich Showgrounds. Pick-up will commence at 8:45 am with the last departure at 9:30 pm on Friday and Saturday and 7:00 pm on Sunday.
Will there be road closures in place?
Full Road closure will be in place on Parker Avenue. No public access will be allowed.
What food options are available?
Food will be available throughout the Show at various food zones.
