Parking
There is no public parking available at the Ipswich Showgrounds.
General Public Parking is available at Wiley Street Park.
Drop-off and collection are permitted via entry from Salisbury Road – Gate One only.
There is no vehicle access to the Showgrounds via Parker Avenue.
Disabled parking is available onsite. Access is via Salisbury Road – Gate One only.
An Australian Disability Parking Permit must be clearly displayed at all times.
Courtesy Coach | Willey Street Park
A complimentary coach will transport attendees between Willey Street Park and the Ipswich Showgrounds on both days from 3:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
Will there be road closures in place?
No road closures in place.
While there are no road closures, please note, there will be no vehicle access to the Showgrounds via Parker Avenue.
Is camping available on-site?
No, the Ipswich Showgrounds Caravan Park is closed to public bookings for the duration of the event. Camping is only permitted to approved competitors and crew for the event.

4:00pm - Rodeo Round 1 events commence

SATURDAY:
8:30am - Gates open
9:00am - Rodeo Round 2 events commence
4:00pm - Rodeo Round 3 events commence
9:00pm - After Party live entertainment from Mick Lindsay
10:30pm - After Party continues with live entertainment from Riley Young inside the Grandstand Pavilion
12:00am - Event closes
Will the event be cancelled/postponed due to weather?
This event will proceed in all weather conditions, except if deemed unsafe due to severe weather such as storms or lightning.

Can I purchase a ticket at the gate?
Yes, tickets will be sold at the gate on both days of the rodeo, only if the event does not sell out prior.
What is the definition of Adult, Child Concession and Family?
An Adult ticket is for a person who does not meet the requirements for purchasing a child or concession ticket.
A Child ticket is for anyone 5 – 12 years of age.
A Concession ticket is for any full-time student (age 13 and over) in possession of a Student Identification Card, or any other valid concession (Centrelink Pension Card, Seniors Card, Veteran and DVA Health Card).
Children 4 and under are FREE
Family is for 2 adults and 2 children.
How do I present my ticket on the day?
You can present the ticket for scanning on your phone at the gate/door or you can bring a printed copy.
I can’t find my ticket?
If you need to have your ticket resent, you can find them on the website account.
Simply go to https://ipswichshow.com.au/
Click on your PROFILE – top right hand side of the page
On your PROFILE – scroll down to Upcoming Tickets
Select the PRINT icon … to view/print your tickets.

Can I get a pass-out?
Yes, for same day only.
Can food and drink be brought in?
No drinks or liquid or any kind is permitted into the venue.
Empty re-usable water bottles up to 1.5L (no glass) are permitted.
Packed food is permitted, however no glass containers are allowed inside the venue.
What food options are available?
A wide variety of food vendors will be available on the Main Arena, plus the café will be open inside the Grandstand Pavilion.
Smoking
Only permitted in the designated smoking area.
Dogs & Animals are not permitted with spectators at the National Finals Rodeo.
If you bring an animal with you to the Ipswich Show you will be denied entry.
Exceptions to this: Service & Guide Dogs, or Animals approved for medical purposes (certificate/identification of approval will need to be shown to gate staff/security).
Animals are not permitted for safety and Biosecurity reasons.
Is there an ATM at the Rodeo?

Is there a lost property area?

Are the Amusement rides in the Kids Zone free?
No, the Amusement rides are not included in your entry tickets.
All rides are pay per ride, at individual rides.
What should I bring?
Your ticket (this can be digital).
Empty re-usable water bottles up to 1.5L (no glass) – there will be plenty of places to fill up. - TBC
Sun protection! Hat, shirt, and sunscreen.
If it looks like rain, bring along wet weather gear, think ponchos and gumboots (NO UMBRELLAS)
Photo ID – you must present your ID on entry to the show to validate age for the purpose of concessions.
Medication – there will be First Aid services for emergencies but bring any medications/treatments you might require if you suffer from a serious illness or condition, such as epilepsy or asthma.
Will there be a cloakroom available?
No.

Can professional camera equipment be brought in?
Images of the Specified Event taken with a camera, mobile phone or other wireless device cannot be used for any purpose other than for private and domestic purposes, without prior written consent of Ipswich Show Society and payment of any imposed fee. Images cannot be sold, licensed, published or otherwise commercially exploited.
What are the seating arrangements?
There is a combination of grandstand seating and standing areas. There is no allocated seating, it is first in best dressed.
No additional seating can be brought in by spectators, however picnic rugs are permitted.
