Fire up your appetite at the Winter Meat Feast, with smoky BBQ aromas, slow-cooked meats and mouth-watering food creations fresh off the grill.

Enjoy a feast of flavours from specialty meat vendors and a variety food trucks (with delicious options available for vegetarians and other dietary needs), grab a drink from the licensed bar, and soak up the atmosphere with live country music and join in the line dancing fun. There'll also be market stalls to browse, carnival rides and plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained.

And when the sun goes down, make your way to the spectacular bonfire – the ultimate centrepiece of an unforgettable winter night at the Ipswich Showgrounds.

Can you pay for entry at the gates?
Yes, you can pay on arrival, or pre-purchase tickets online & jump the queue. 
General Admission $5 per person | Kids 12 & under - FREE

Is this for all ages?
There'll be there’ll be live music and line dancing (family friendly, inclusive for all ages), carnival rides & games, food trucks, and market stalls for all to enjoy! Plus a licenced bar area for 18+.

Do you need to pay for rides?
Yes, rides are pay per ride, starting at $10.

Can we join in the Line Dancing?
YES! Line dancing is designed to for all to enjoy, it’s fun and free, happening 6-7pm.

Which area of the Showgrounds is the Winter MEAT Feast in?
The outdoor market area, that bends around Warwick Road, accessible via Gate 1 (Salisbury Rd) & Gate 2 (Parker Ave). EVENT PRECINCT MAP HERE

Where do we enter and park?
There is parking available on-site. Enter via Warwick Rd/Salisbury Rd roundabout (gate 1). Bremer State High School car park on Parker Ave is also open. PARKING MAP HERE

Can we bring our own chairs?
Yes, chairs and/or picnic rugs are welcome. There will be tables and seating available on-site, but they can fill up fast.

Can we bring in trolleys/wagons?
Yes, trolleys and wagons are both permitted.

Is the event pet-friendly? 
It sure is, all the Twilight Carnivals at Ipswich Showgrounds are pet-friendly. As with any outing with your furry friends, to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please keep all pets on a leash and under your control at all times. Remember to clean up after your them and be aware of other guests and animals. Please be mindful, these Events do get quite busy, please use your discretion and only bring pets who are comfortable with crowds.
