Ipswich Showplace Markets

About the markets

The Ipswich Showplace Markets are held every Sunday at the Ipswich Showgrounds (excluding the first Sunday after Christmas and Ipswich Show weekend in May). They are open to the public between 6am and 11:30am.

Stallholders currently sell a range of items, both new and second hand. They range from toys, clothes, books, plants, household items, DVDs and CDs, art, craft, tools, hardware, services, fruit and vegetables, ice-cream, hot food, coffee and more!


Open Hours

Sundays 6am till 11:30am.

Entry Fee

Free Admission. Coin donations appreciated. All proceeds go to the Ipswich Show Society to assist with maintaining and upgrading the showgrounds and market.


 81 Warwick Rd, Ipswich


Car parking available at the Front and Back Market areas.


Smoking is NOT permitted within the markets.



Dogs (Dog Trial 2020)

Dogs permitted only during Jan-Feb 2020 Dog Trial. See below flyer for requirements and information.

Service and Assistance dogs are permitted always.

Bikes / Scooters / Segway

Must be walked within the markets. Please don’t lock bikes to our gates.

Disability Scooters
